Roscoe (Greg) Wilson Gregory:
Roscoe Wilson Gregory was born in Coldwater, Missouri in 1899, received his law degree from Detroit Law School, Detroit Michigan and moved to Omaha, Nebraska where his first job was Circulation Manager of The Omaha Bee. Greg moved to Harrisburg Pennsylvania in 1923 and in the same year established Wilson Gregory Agency primarily selling Accident Insurance to Newspaper subscribers throughout the Eastern United States.
Over the years, Greg steadily built the company expanding into Newspaper Carrier Accident Insurance in 1947. As a specialty agency, the company grew and his son, Ted, soon joined him part time in 1955 during college school summer vacations.
In 1973 Greg made Ted President and together they incorporated the agency in 1975, the same year Greg passed away.
Edwin (Ted) Wilson Gregory:
Chairman, CEO, Director, and Stockholder
Ted is a 1955 graduate of The Hill School, Pottstown, Pennsylvania and a 1959 graduate of Colgate University, Hamilton, New York where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. In 1955 Ted started part time at Wilson Gregory during his college summer vacations. After graduating college, Ted served in The United States Air Force from 1959 to 1962 and was Honorably Discharged from The United States Air Force Reserve in June 1972. Ted joined his father full time at Wilson Gregory Agency in 1962, was made President in 1973 and has been a licensed independent insurance agent since 1955 specializing in the sale and service of Accident Insurance and Surety Bonds to Independent Contractors throughout the Newspaper Industry.
At Wilson Gregory, Ted supervises company relations with underwriters, bankers and major accounts and oversees strategic planning for the agency.
Richard Wilson Hively:
Rick is a 1967 graduate of Chanute High School, Chanute, Kansas and attended the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas. Rick became a licensed independent insurance agent in 1977 and has been specializing in the sale and service of Independent Contractor Accident Insurance and Surety Bonds to the Newspaper Industry ever since. He joined Wilson Gregory in 1987 as Regional Sales Manager, was promoted to National Sales Manager in 1991 and was elected president in 1998.
Rick oversees all aspects of the agency with particular responsibilities for sales growth, profitability and new product design and development.
Mark Wilson Gregory:
VP Operations, Director, Secretary/Treasurer, Stockholder
Mark is a 1981 graduate of The Hill School, Pottstown, Pennsylvania and a 1985 graduate of Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, Colorado. Mark joined his father at Wilson Gregory Agency in 1988 as Regional Sales Agent. He was promoted to Business Manager in 1990 and to Vice President Operations in 1993. Mark has been a licensed independent insurance agent since 1988 specializing in the sale and service of Independent Contractor Accident Insurance and Surety Bond programs to the Newspaper Industry.
At Wilson Gregory Agency, Mark supervises day-to-day operations, including finances, budgeting, computers and systems, agent licensing, personnel as well as agency profitability.
Todd Wilson Gregory:
Vice President Sales, Director, and Stockholder
Todd is a 1985 graduate of Harrisburg Academy, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and a 1990 graduate of West Chester University, West Chester, Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. After graduation, Todd joined his Father and Brother at Wilson Gregory Agency and has been a licensed independent insurance agent since 1990 specializing in the sale and service of Independent Contractor Accident Insurance and Surety Bonds to the Newspaper Industry.
Todd joined Wilson Gregory Agency in 1990 as Regional Sales Manager and was promoted to Vice President of Sales in 1993.
Todd's responsibilities include coordinating advertising, sales and service activities of field agents, implementing sales goals and strategy throughout the United States and customer relations and service nationwide.
